SHOW INFORMATION –

JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT
Lyrics by Tim Rice, Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber

Director:  Shel Piercy
Choreographer: Keri Minty
Music Director: Kevin Michael Cripps

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is the fabulous musical written by the team of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.  It was their first musical although it wasn't a hit until a re-imagined production at the London Palladium in 1993 starring Jason Donovan. When the show exploded on Broadway it was former teen idol Donny Osmond who played the role of the dreamer whose life is so profoundly changed.  Our 2010 production will be a dynamic and fresh take on one of the world's favorite musicals! With magic, showmanship and a heart-thumping beat, this is a show for the entire family.  If you have yet to realize how much FUN and COMEDY there is in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, you have a chance to see Joseph like YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN HIM BEFORE!  Added to the nightly excitement is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for one lucky child... check www.tuts.ca for more details!

SINGIN' IN THE RAIN
Based on the MGM Film Screenplay by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, Songs by Nacio Herb Brown and Arthur Freed

Director:  Shel Piercy
Choreographer: Shelley Stewart Hunt
Musical Director: Wendy Bross Stuart

It has been called the world's FAVOURITE movie musical! And what better show could there be for Canada's FAVOURITE outdoor musical theatre than the stage adaption of this Academy award-winning movie?  This hit Broadway show features all of the classic movie songs, "Make 'Em Laugh", "Good Morning", "Broadway Rhythm" and of course, "Singin' In The Rain".  It is a show full of great dance numbers, fabulous costumes and lots of side-splitting comedy - the perfect ingredients for a memorable night under the stars at Malkin Bowl. Of course the show wouldn't be complete without RAIN... and we are confident that the only wet stuff this summer will be on-stage, in our production of Singin' In The Rain. Don't miss it!
