A twisted musical satire in the tradition of Brecht/Weill about power, class, greed and lust, and about a rebellion that goes wrong. The play is set in some fantastic Otherworld where there are only two classes of people, owners and servants, and where people speak in a strange version of English, reminiscent of both Shakespeare and Dr. Seuss. Beggars Would Ride is a satellite presentation of the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival.
